Influence of Caustic Soda Flakes-Phosphogypsum on Activation and Microstructure of Carbide Slag-Flyash Ding Qingrong1, a, Ma Yuying2, Xiang Xing2 Caohong2, b,Xue Jun2 1 Yichang Highway Bureau of Hubei, Yichang Hubei China 443000; 2 School of Material Science and Engineering, Wuhan Institute of Technology, Wuhan, China 430074 a ycgljbgsxx@136.com, b caohong@mail.wit.edu.cn Keywords: caustic soda flakes; phosphogypsum; carbide slag; flyash; hydration products.
However, the caustic soda flakes -phosphogypsum can promote the formation of C-A-S-H and AFt, so can improve the strength and engineering application of the system effectively.
Therefore, many scholars apply the carbide slag-flyash in road engineering [1-4].Rostov Civil Engineering and Architecture of the former Soviet Union had mixed carbide slag, flyash, loess and phosphogypsum to take many tests, concluded that the product’s strength can in line with Class I of strength standard[5];Xu Qingfei adopts the second class carbide slag and III grade flyash, take the laboratory and field tests about concrete pavement base [6].
