Diamond Coated End Mills in Machining Silicon Carbide Mohamed Konneh1, a, Mohammad Iqbal1, b and Nik Mohd Azwan Faiz 1,International Islamic University Malaysia, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, P.O.
Advances in precision engineering have led to the discovery of a “ductile regime” of operation, for nominally brittle materials, in which the material removal is plastic.
Davidge [1] studied the mechanical behavior of ceramics and opined the difficulties in machining ceramics.
