Experiment Figure 1 shows the I-V curves with different TiO2 layer thicknesses reported by Tian et al in the acta scientiarum naturalium universitatis [5].
According to Tian report[5], the wet film thickness of TiO2 layer in Figure 1 was increased from 60um to 180um.
The above mathematical process deduced that the optimal thickness for DSSC electrode in the process in Tian's research[5] is 180um or so.
According to equation 2-8 of Tian' research [9], the maximum conversion efficiency will appear in the short-circuit current at the maximum, i.e. at the photocurrent maximum.
