As for capabilities, especially fatigue resistance, titanium alloy is better than other materials.
In addition the susceptibility of titanium to work-harden during machining impair their machining ability, hence they are referred to as difficult-to-machine materials.

In a Lagrangian analysis, the computational grid deforms with the materials, while in Eulerian analysis, the grid is fixed in space.
The workpiece material is modeled using the Johnson-Cook constitutive model, this model is a strain rate and temperature dependent visco-plastic material model which describes the relationship of stress-strain, strain rate and temperature.

Introduction Use of composites in different applications ranging from aircraft and space systems to the recent smart structure concept has been prolific and this is accentuated by development of new materials and fabrication methods.
Since the behavior of composites up to failure is quite complex and depends on the type of manufacture and materials used in the composites, experimental studies were conducted for material characterization for one type of composite INDCARF using coupons with and without damage.
