Introduction Intermetallic titanium aluminides offer an attractive combination of low density and good oxidation and ignition resistance with unique mechanical properties.
In contrast to the numerous publications on γ-TiAl alloy development-processing, fatigue behavior, microstructure and mechanical properties, oxidation and thermal protection, there is a dearth of information on machining performance whether involving conventional or non-conventional processes.
The added powder significantly affects the performance of EDM process.
Experimental procedure The mechanical and physical properties of titanium aluminide intermetallic (Ti-53 Al (at. %)) are presented in Table 1.
Conclusions · From the most critical factors of the powder characteristics governing surface roughness are identified as particle concentration, particle density, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity

The use of thin films in optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices is aimed at improving the physical properties of the substrate material.
In solar cells functional layers are used, which often apart from optical properties also have other such as: chemical, mechanical, electrical.
The catalysts are alkaline or acidic and have a significant effect on the properties of the layer.
Among the factors that affect the properties of the layer stands out: · temperature, · concentration and type of precursor, · concentration and type of solvent, · pH of the solution, · polarity of the solvent.
A large number of factors affecting the properties of the layers allows for a variety of shaping of the physicochemical properties of the layers, but also forces continuous monitoring of the production for industrial repeatability.

Aluminium is a widely used metal in various industries due to its excellent mechanical properties, low density, and high corrosion resistance [7].
However, the corrosion resistance of aluminium can be affected by factors such as the environment, temperature, and the presence of other metals [12].

These phases constitute an important part of the microstructure in the Al-Si alloys, because the particles formed during casting may influence the soundness of components and material properties during subsequent fabrication steps or in service.
For example, the β-AlFeSi platelike phase has a detrimental influence on the alloy properties: these platelets act as potential sites for crack initiation that may result in decohesion failures [1].
On the other hand, the properties of cast Al-Si alloys containing large fraction of eutectic are largely determined by the size and morphology of the brittle eutectic Si.
Modification of eutectic Si phase from coarse acicular to fine, uniform and fibrous morphology is, therefore, of favorable effect on the mechanical properties of theses alloys.
Therefore, it believed that the refinement is not mainly due to formation of solidified alloy particles during ultrasonic treatment, but rather due to the contribution of several factors, which may include the activation of the uncontrolled inclusions, oxide particles and inactive grain refiner particles; the formation of solidified alloy particles; and maybe other factors.

Due to the complexity and the highly non-linear nature of vehicle crash affecting occupants, much work still remains to be looked into.
Contact definitions are assigned between the dummy and the CRS with a coefficient of friction of 0.2 and damping factor of 0.25.
The seat buck frame is made of rigid material property to avoid deformation during impact.
Shell elements having identical material properties as the foam insert is used for quasi-damping.

Plastics injection molding is extensively utilized producing products with great properties and complex geometries.
A number of critical parameters were investigated such as the filling time, melt temperature, mold temperature and injection pressure limit taking into account the material properties and the machine’s features, however only the very basics are presented in the current paper due to page limitation.
Pressure at end of packing is an additional factor that should be studied to avoid any manufacturing defects.
A successful injection molding operation of the polystyrene part Plastics injection molding is a complex process involving a great number of factors that need to be taken into account.

Establishment of finite element model (1) And a simplified joint mechanical model At present, China has built the subway shield lining to withstand bending moments generally between -150 ~ 200 KN • m, under this simulation in considering the actual premise of safety engineering for simplicity and comprehensive analysis of the different positive and negative torques on the bolts affected joints, whichever torque 220KN • m and -200 KN • m, eccentricity take - 0.1m.
Lining force shown in Figure 1: On the map joint center take the torque balance: Solution: Eccentricity e -0.1m, according to the eccentric distance formula: Fig. 1 Lining Force Diagram (2)Size calculation of mechanical parameters and component This simulation because of the existence of main analysis of bolt on the joint partby the force of the impact, so the precast lining parameters used only by C50concrete as reference, analysis on the stress situation of lining joint part of the stress condition, the specific data see table 1.
(2) under negative moment, because the lining section partial outer part stressmainly, while the partial inner part of the main force for the joint force, so theeffect of bolt and bolt hole on the joint part is not obvious (3) in the actual situation, should be considered by the larger part of the positive moment appropriately increase the bolt hole strength, have prevent lead todestroy the entire surface of concrete and the influence of the effect of water to produce stress concentration References [1]Haiying Zhou,Tingguo Chen and Lixin Li:Theoretical and Experimental Research on the mechanical properties of shield tunnel lining segment structure(2011)

The affected coke causes discontinuous operation in the furnace.
This changes the metallurgical and mechanical properties of the tube.
Saavedra et al. [2] suggested that there are several factors causing the coke formation such as operating loads, temperature, time, heat flow and the partial pressure of the hydrocarbon.
Fig. 4 Shows experimental transferring model of2D sketch C diffusion in gas phase state (C2H4) of the tube in the ethylene heating furnace. 3.2 Weldability prediction with Ni/Cr ratio It is widely known that when the carburization takes place, the C atom will diffuse into a matrix of the metals and cause changes in the microstructure and mechanical properties.
Conclusion The C concentration in the carburized tube was dependent on the temperature inside the tube which affected to their weldability.

Double-row piles retaining structure has been widely used in the project now, but the stress mechanism of double-row pile is more complex; Its internal force and deformation are affected by many factors.
However, the stress mechanism of double-row pile is more complex; Its internal force and deformation are affected by many factors and the design calculation method is not mature enough yet. This paper takes the Jinan Cultural Arts Center(Theatre) stage bin foundation pit as an example, by analysing double-row pile retaining structure including the internal force, deformation and overall stability and so on, through theoretical calculation, the soil test and the analysis of field measured data, to analyse the main effects of optimization design about double-pile supporting structure.
The influence of CFG composite foundation on stability of the pit sidewall mainly displays in the following three aspects: (1) The higher replacement rate of pile-soil area changes the properties of original soil around the foundation pit, from originally pure soil to pile-soil complex, which effectively improving the physical and mechanical indexes of the soil
Deep foundation pit is three dimensional space structure with the size of long, wide and deep, so whose supporting system design is a complex three-dimensional mechanical problem.
(5) In the foundation pit supporting design, especially row pile supporting design, pile-beam coordination effect and the space effect of foundation pit are two important factors which should not be ignored, which provide favorable conditions for the security reserves of supporting structure.
