Introduction Polyethylene (PE) has found widespread use as a packaging material primarily due to its excellent mechanical properties, chemical and biological inertness, low cost, and high energy effectiveness [1].
A combination of all these factors contributes to the inertness of PE.
Other physical factors affect the degradation rate including morphology and surface area of the materials [5].
Mechanical strength was evaluated by using an Instron 5565 Instrument.
Generally, the degradation of PE is initiated at weak sites and proceeds via the formation of hydroperoxide intermediates to form carbonyl compounds, leading to chain scission and loss of mechanical properties.

However, in the course of fabrication, particularly those where post-weld heat-treatment is difficult or impossible such as in the repair and reconditioning of in-service fabrications or where transition welds are required, different filler materials are preferred to introduce different mechanical properties such as higher ductility or lower yield strength.
It has therefore been necessary to examine the effect of the material interface for modern steel grades using numerical analysis simulating various responses to conditions and properties in each component.
This change of flow affected the decomposition of the Fe3C, (M3C) and this affected the dimension of the decarburised zone.
Acknowledgements Dr Kirk wishes to thank Professor Kleemola for valuable discussions concerning the solubility factors noted in the text.

In order to obtain the mechanical parameters, using 70.7 × 70.7 ×70.7mm mould to do eight groups of small specimens.
After 28 days, testing the small specimens with the Changchun Research Institute for Testing Machines Co., Ltd(CRITM) producing the CSS-55100 electronic testing machine, and through MTS's latest version of Test Works 4.0 software to collect, calculate and so on, getting physical and mechanical property parameter, the test results meet the similarity criteria, in Table 1.

If the assumption of the highest values of acoustical or mechanical impedance of the space boundaries (damping properties of boundaries) is made, the modal coupling can be neglected.
The shape of the space together with properties of space boundaries influences the distribution of the field.
In the case of optimization or generally in a control of the acoustic field inside of an enclosure, many factors should be considered e.g. area of boundaries, their configuration, location, the acoustic properties of the materials, which can cover the walls, sound/noise source position.
It is assumed, that damping in the system comes from a boundaries’ properties, not from the medium.
(15) In this problem, the total number of designs variable finally depends on two factors.

Therefore, a series of modal testing and simulation calculation of chatter stability are produced to gain the effect of various factors on chatter in machine-cutter system.
The main cutter factors to affect chatter stability are tool overhang and tooth number.

The chemical structure, thermal properties and hydrophilic performance of the copolymers were respectively characterized.
The chemical nature and incompatibility of these segments are the important factors of the properties of the poly(ether ester) elastomers.
PEG was considered to fully react in almost all works, which has developed the mechanical property, thermal property, ageing-resistant performance and chemical resistance of the copolymers[14-16].
Thermal properties was reduced when decreasing the molecular weight of PEG unit as it increased the irregularity of molecular chains[19].
