Study on downburst wind field characteristics under mountainous terrain Haitao Shi1, a, Yuanze Wu1,Sun Yi1, Baifeng Ji2 1 School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Wuhan University of Technology Wuhan, China, 430070 2 Hubei Key Laboratory of Roadway Bridge &Structure Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology Wuhan, China, 430070 a1559913750@qq.com Keywords:downburst; dimensional hillside;computational fluid dynamics;velocity pressure contours; Abstract.
From an engineering point of view for the structure of wind-resistant design, researching downburst wind field characteristics and ultimately determining a reasonable downburst wind profile is one of the core objectives of the study.
Downburst in the world caused a lot of damage to engineering structures .Melbourne [5] proposed in1972 that downburst should be incorporated into the consideration of the structural design wind load.

It is significant for freezing process and freezing units, optimum design of practical engineering.
Introduction Soil freezing is a common natural phenomenon, it is disserve for industrial and civil buildings of permafrost areas.
Using the finite difference prediction of soil freezing time may be right permafrost zone-based engineering and construction to withstand freeze-thaw cycles endurance and longevity study to predict, and thus the basis for the design of high-rise building theory.
