Longitudinal strain and the hoop strain of column limbs, the Poisson ratio of combination of materials have been obtained.
At the later loading stage, the Poisson ratio of combination of materials begins increasing in a straight line until destroyed.
The Poisson ratio of combination of materials keeps 0.2 to 0.35 during the whole loading process, illustrating that the Confinement Effect is tiny in the whole test process.

Previous studies have indicated that in order to absorb shock and provide optimal support, different materials are recommended in shoe-sole design [7,8].
Two bionic shoes were designed using softer and harder materials.
Differences in deformation were achieved by adding different hardness materials into the heel area of the shoe [11,12].
The results from this study could be linked to more compression deformation by relatively soft materials under larger stress [25].
