There are some people proposed TiO2 photocatalysis oxidation technology in wastewater treatment may play an important role, so it has been a hot issue in the field of science and technology research.
1The present situation of the applications of TiO2 in the wastewater treatment
The study which process wastewater and improve the environment by the photocatalytic properties of TiO2 has become a hot issue in the field of science and technology research.
Once researchers prepared nano-sized TiO2 semiconductor photocatalytic materials to study the photocatalytic treatment of oily wastewater treatment effect, The results show that nano-sized TiO2 with high activity of photocatalytic degradation of oil.
Researchers photocatalytic degradation under UV light irradiation of crude oil with coal ash in the floating ball as the carrier, using butyl titanate as raw materials, the preparation of a load photocatalytic activity of TiO2 powders with nanoscale floating load type catalyst , the results showed that the degradation: Floating type load TiO2 photocatalyst can floating on the surface of the water and oil pollutants fully contact, can make the effective degradation of pollutants for simple non-toxic substances. 2.3 Pharmaceutical wastewater treatment With the continuous development of medicine pharmacy has brought people more of the convenience, but to increase the difficulty of pharmaceutical waste water treatment.
