If the joining temperature is too low, the reaction of joining material and the interfacial
reaction between the joining material and the welding base materials are not sufficient for
interfacial bonding.
The fracture surface of the joints manufactured under the optimized conditions is a mixed-mode one, which indicates a good wettability of the system and a sound bonding between the joining material and the welding base materials.

These type soils cannot be used directly as embankment material for road/highway construction or have to avoid.
