Abstract: Based on the hydration kinetics of the cement matrix material, the paper presents a chemical analysis method by means of analyzing the contents of Ca(OH)2 in cement matrix material.
Therefore, Ca(OH)2 is not only the hydration products of the cement, but also the raw materials of reaction of ash fly and pozzolana.

The mechanical property of RC box girder strengthened with carbon fiber sheets is complicated because the strengthened girder is a composite structure made up of many different materials such as concrete, steel bars and carbon fiber sheets.
In the process from the very beginning of loading to the ultimate damage, these materials’ nonlinearities appear simultaneously, which results in complicated structure’s mechanical property and deformational law in different stress phases.
If all kinds of materials are pasted so intactly that there will be no relative slip among these materials, that is to say, steel bar (or carbon fiber sheet) element and concrete element share the same node, the displacement coordination and the force transmission among these materials can be guaranteed.
