Cu2O is an interesting p-type semiconductor with a band gap of 2.0 eV [3] and a cubic structure with a lattice parameter of 4.27 Å [4].
Results and discussion The XRD patterns of films revealed a single phase CuO with monoclinic crystal structure (tenorite).
It is clear that there is no change in the crystal structure for films annealed at 200, 300 and 400˚C.
