From the flooding results, dissolution of CO2 into oil leads to recovery increase because of crude oil viscosity reduction.
Hence, it is necessary to reduce carbon emission and CO2 capture and storage is prospective for emission reduction and enhancing oil recovery with CO2.
The results showed that after outlet closed, most of asphaltene deposited from the oil and the deposited amounts were 2.51wt% and 3.31wt% respectively, and the deposited asphaltene ratios were up to 93.66% and 94.03%, which were similar to the data obtained from static tests.
