The micro-PECM (Pulse Electrochemical Machining) combining synchronous ultrasonic vibration is proposed as a new technology for to solve the difficulty machining problems of conductive hard and tough materials.
Generally, the mid carbon steel and the spring steel are selected as electrode materials of the micro-machining.

Introduction Currently, geopolymer based on analogous and aluminosilicates materials is used to replace the Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) as binders for concretes in building materials.
In concrete materials, the corrosion process will be slow if its high electrical resistivity is compared to concrete which has low resistivity.

Looking for cheaper and more efficient reactive media is one effective way to enhance efficiency and reduce cost of PRB.Therefore, recent studies have focused on the search of inexpensive and efficient reactive media especially developed from various natural mineral materials. The application of emerging reactive media, such as peat[4]and lignite[5],has been studied in repair projects.

The technique using the investigated material affected by ion flux can also be applied to visualize the surface voltage distribution of textile materials.
Surface voltage is a parameter introduced to describe the electrical properties of textile materials.
The results of this study are useful for interpreting experimental data and characterizing textile materials, and can be used to evaluate the withstand voltage and half-life as indicators for various materials.

It shows that the increased load can be transferred to pile bottom precisely because of the continue compression of pile materials.
It shows that during the loading process before 4000KN, elastic deformation occurred mainly for pile body materials, and after 4000kn, plastic deformation occurred.

SiC film demonstrates low friction and superior scratch and wear resistance when compared to the other materials currently used in MEMS devices [16].
The various surface roughness value of different surface materials are shown in Fig. 3.
For all of the surface materials, larger normal forces lead to smaller friction force.
Fig. 6 show the contact angle changes with various surface materials, surface roughness values, and roughness directions.
