Material and methods
Material Preparation.
The SEM micrographs for the raw CS and RSP (see Fig. 2 (a) and (b)) show relatively smooth surface with no development of pores indicating non porosity of the materials.
A study by Agarry and Owabor [11] reported that high cellulose content biomass predominantly produced micropores materials, while high lignin yield in macroporous materials when converted to activated carbon.

Stresses around V-notch are obviously smaller than those around D-notch, and we suppose that it is because materials around V-notch which introduces intense stress concentration firstly yield under intensely increasing thermal stresses.
