The aim of this paper is to investigate the possibility of using of perforated metallic materials for producing sandwich panels for the different application in the civil engineering.
Introduction Perforated metal materials (PMM) have found their application in the civil engineering, architecture, and mechanical engineering [1-3] due to the successful combination of low mass and sufficiently high strength.
Sandwich panels have made similar progress in the production and application in the civil engineering.
Last years the use of environmental materials such as peat chips and wood materials become urgent.

Engineering Materials Cost Index of Operation and Maintenance Station The location of an operation and maintenance station is established according to the concrete conditions of each district, and in order to save human resources and investment, operation and maintenance stations should be established in high-voltage substations.
During the location process, engineering materials cost should be taken into consideration in order to get the cost minimum and efficiency maximum.
The transmission line materials cost of different voltage levels will be taken into account when selecting.

In the light of the excellent performance of various energy dissipation devices in area of mechanical engineering, kinds of dampers had been produced and installed in engineering structure for energy dissipation.
The use of Tuned Liquid Dampers (TLD) to minimize the structural vibration in civil engineering was started from the mid 1980's [6], whose emergence and successful application in engineering structure has already inspired the enthusiasm of many scholars to research.
Key issues of the performance-based design for passive energy dissipation system.
With more and more new technologies and materials are constantly emerging, more dampers with higher performance are to be researched and developed.
