This work is focused on describing some aspects of the industrial production process and the investigation of the metallographic and mechanical properties for thin gauge HSLA and multi-phase steel strips.
The quality demands HS and AHS steels are higher in terms of: steel cleanness, internal soundness, homogeneous mechanical properties, homogeneous microstructure and surface quality [5].
Therefore a balance between mechanical properties and chemical composition was taken into account during the development of these steel grades.
The mechanical tests (Tab. 2) showed a good homogeneity of properties along the length of the strip and along the width.
Tab. 2 – Average mechanical properties of the different steel grades for coil head (H1-H2-H3), centre (C1-C2-C3) and tail (T1-T2-T3), with their standard deviations in brackets.

Adding Nano SiO2 into it can improve the frost resistance of EPS lightweight concrete, so that it can improve the microstructure and mechanical properties of concrete.
Comparing with micron of SiO2 materials, the special structure of Nano SiO2 exhibits the unique properties: good dispersibility, with large specific surface area, excellent optical performance and chemical stability.
Nano SiO2 not only can fill the gap of cement and improve the fluidity of concrete, but also can improve the interface structure of water debris and aggregate in concrete, so that it can improve the concrete strength, impermeability and durability[3] .Hardened concrete’s main properties are with sufficient strength and durability.
The experiment EPS lightweight concrete durability of the external force factors are complex, which is one of the common freeze-thaw cycle effects fresh water and salt erosion.
The stand or fall of EPS lightweight concrete frost resistance to a certain extent affect the quality of freeze-thaw cycle, experimental research of nano SiO2 of EPS lightweight concrete frost resistance.

Columnar, coarse-grained structures can also be observed in metals and alloys that were affected by heat sources of high energy density in welding [5].
According to numerous authors, the columnar morphologies have considerable effect on mechanical properties of materials [6, 7].
However, as far as heat affected zones of welds are concerned, the major growth governing factors (peak temperature, temperature gradient, heating and cooling rates…) appear in a rather dramatic scale [8].
Standard metallographic preparation consisted in mechanical, careful polishing and chemical etching with 5% solution of nitric acid.

The influences of pore water solution concentration on the swelling properties of expansive soils were studied using the constant volume swelling pressure experiments and swelling ratio experiments under load.
Introduction The study of influencing factors on the swelling behaviors of bentonites usually concentrated in the mechanical factors imposed on soils, for example the vertical load applied on the sample, and the physical character of soils, for example initial dry density, initial water content.
Although the inundating solution, viz. bulk solution, is lower than the original solution to prepare the specimens, the concentrations of the solutions around the clay layers are not necessarily affected by the bulk solutions.

The addition amount of APN, thickener, different ratios of humectant and friction agent were selected as three factors for the design.
And K12 is detergent due to its surface-active property.
AHP was used to determine the weight of each of the above factors to calculate the composite score.
The objectives of the present study were to optimize the formulation of APN toothpaste and to find the relationship between the factors.
Then the corresponding portion scale was given to each factors.

Introduction Preparation of CVD diamond film with low cost and high quality leads to its excellent mechanical, optical, thermal and electrical properties to display and its widespread application potential from cutting tool coating, window for high-speed aircraft to heat sink and semiconductor device.
So far, it is considered that transition layer formed by ion implantation can improve the chemical bond, inhibit hydrogen and carbon diffusion during the diamond growth process and keep the mechanical properties of the substrate [6-8].
Fig. 1 The distribution of Ti and carbon in the gradient material Ti ion implantation is commonly used to modify DLC surface by the graphitization process [9] and improve its mechanical properties such as hardness and friction coefficient through forming TiC nanocrystalline phases [10].
Properties of substrate materials were affected mainly by the energy, dose and ion flux.
In depth from Ar+ sputtering 1min to 8min, the content of Ti, determined by the ratio of the area under the C1s and Ti 2p peaks and corrected by the atomic sensitivity factors (C: 0.314 and Ti: 2.077) [14] , increases from 0.18 at.% to 0.34at.% in Fig.5.

The dynamic methods of the determining of the elastic properties of materials allow to carry out measurements at a small relative deformation (£ 10-6) and have higher the sensitivity and accuracy compared to the static methods [21, 22].
Herewith, the mechanical properties of the material change from elastic to viscoelastic properties.
Secondly, the heating to a temperature close enough to the melting point leads the solid to an extreme (limiting) state, characterized by the instability of the crystal lattice and, therefore, by a special behavior of properties.
The change in the state of a crystal lattice of metal under the influence of the thermal and power factors is determined by its deformation (changing in the interatomic distance) and is uniquely associated with the degree of changing in the young modules.

Preliminary studies [3,4,5] indicate that using NMFs as reinforcing filler to prepare composites can not only improve the mechanical properties of composites but also reduce the environmental pollution and the cost of composites.
When NMFs content is 20 wt%, the NMP with particle size of NMFs less than 0.07 mm, has excellent mechanical properties, which results in a flexural strength of 68.8 MPa and a Charpy impact strength of 6.4 kJ/m2.
The composites of nonmetallic powder from waste PCBs (NM-PCBs), wood and PVC were prepared, and the physical and mechanical properties of the nonmetal-wood-plastic composites (NM-WPC) were studied [15].
Firstly, the study on the reaction mechanism of composites preparation should be strengthened to explore the reasons why the additional quantity and particle size of NMFs powder affect the properties of composites.
Secondly, a suitable coupling agent should be chosen to pretreat the NMFs, which will further improve the the interface compatibility between NMFs and matrix, and increase the mechanical properties of composites.

Cellulose a glucose polymer is crystalline in nature and is largely responsible for the fiber’s physical, mechanical and chemical properties, hemicellulose is a group of polysaccharides differentiated from cellulose by its structure, lignin another major component of the fiber structure, is an amorphous hydrocarbon polymer consisting of both aromatic and aliphatic groups[6].
This because, the surfaces of the raw fibers have impurities and surface coatings such as wax and pectin which are removed during the alkaline treatment exposing the sharp edges of those fiber components which are not affected by NaOH.
