The influence of the addition of Ti and B in the form of five different grain refiners/aluminum master alloys (Al–10wt.
Grain refinement of an A356.2 alloy with Ti and B additions in the ranges of 0.02–0.5wt.% and 0.01–0.5wt.%, respectively, was examined using these different types of grain refiners.
Tensile and impact tests were conducted to evaluate the influence of the interaction between grain refiner and modifier on the mechanical properties.
The Number of impact toughness and hardness on recycle Al-Zn are obtained, they are 7 J/cm2 and 38.43 BHN, respectively [9].
However, after recycling looks more finer and the Si eutectic phase is spread evenly on the alloy, grain morphologies changes to be smooth.

It proved that the design oflower heat input in welding process can improve the microstructure of weld joint. 3.3 Metalgraphic Analysis After grinding, polishing and then etching with 4% nitric acid alcohol, the macro-metallgraph has shown weld metal, heat affected zone and base material clearly, due to different microstructure and grain size.
Pipe body with small grain size contains amount of type D nonmetallic Inclusion and 2.0 grade band structure.
Therefore, micro structure of inner WM(fig 8) is relatively small grain size PF and P.
Because cooling rate after welding is lower than that of rolling process, grain size of HAZ became bigger.
Grain size of outer HAZ is obviously bigger than that of inner, the vicker hardness value is identical but only ten units.

The constructions of numerous tunnels particularly in mountainous terrains particularly those driven by tunnel boring machines (TBMs), lead to an increasing number of overstressing problems.
The Main Range Granite can be generally divided into three sections by grain size, which are; coarse grained granite from Ch. 3.9 km to Ch. 20 km, fine grained granite from Ch. 20 km to 29 km and medium grained granite from Ch. 29 km to the Outlet.
The grain size of the granite varies from fine to coarse grain by several cm orders.

The ore from the deposit is characterized by low grade, high oxidation ratio and fine-grained dissemination, which results in the poor flotation recovery.
Ÿ Ultrafine-grained dissemination of copper minerals[5].
The oxidized copper minerals in Tangdan ore is very special, it has been observed that malachite and chrysocolla frequently occur in considerable amounts as netted veins in the gaps between dolomite, quartz or sericite grains, or in the interfaces between crystals of gangue minerals, or fill the cleavage planes and cracks, forming the so-called ‘combined oxidized copper’ or ‘chromosome-like chrysocolla’ [6]
The micro-bubbles dissociated from the solution possess two basic characteristics: first of all, small in diameter, high in dispersion, as a result, a large number of bubble surface area within one unit slurry volume; Second, these bubbles are active bubbles which can only be dissociated on hydrophobic mineral surface.
Effect of vacuum degree on malachite flotation performance Vacuum degree will significantly affect both the number of micro-bubbles and the velocity of micro-bubble producing, as well as the flotation performance.

The type of fracture is brittle with Mo and borides segregating to grain boundaries.
Molybdenum segregates to intergranular eutectic regions: concentration of Mo at grain boundaries is up to 10 wt%, while inside particles is about to 1.5 wt%.

The results showed that the water deep percolation was reduced and the moisture of root zone increased by 3.6%-12.69% after chemical agents application; PAM can immobile soil grains, and significantly reduce soil erosion on sloping land by 25.5%-53.4%.
The growing orchard, breed aquatics and rural inn with a huge number of chemical fertilizer, pesticides, agricultural film, livestock excrement and solid waste resulted in serious pollution in Beijing rural areas.
Moreover, PAM can immobile the soil grains, significantly reduce soil erosion on sloping land by 25.5%-53.4%.

The obtained Lawson cypress leaf-like ZnO hierarchical nanostructures were composed of ZnO nanoparticles with the grain size about 100~200 nm, were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), ZnO was detected by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the highly crystalline structure was demonstrated by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM).
The Lawson cypress leaf-like structure is composed of ZnO nanoparticles with the grain size about 100~200 nm, both the stem and the branches are 300~500 nm in diameter, as shown in Fig. 1(b).
With further detailed observation, it is easy to find that the maximum number of poles of lateral branch is four, it is clear that the nanodendrite is highly symmetric, and the angles between the stem and the branches are mostly about 60°, as shown in Fig. 1(d).

There has been a number of reports to investigate the effect of parameters in UAG process [7], and a few of those articles mentioned the influence that amplitude has on grinding force and surface roughness without any absolute result or theoretical explanation [8].
If the force between a certain abrasive grain and the work piece is defined as Fa, the lateral cracks length CL and the lateral cracks depth CH can be obtained with Eq. 2 and Eq. 3 based on the work of Marshall et al [11].
Here w stands for the indentation depth of the abrasive grain, Na is the number of active abrasive grains, and A is the amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration.

Topal et al. [4] and Sozeri et al. [16] observed that individual grains are not distributed homogenously.
This suggests that every particle forms by aggregation of a large number of crystallites.
Average number of the crystal size measurement was shown in Table 1 below.
This phenomenon was mainly caused by bigger grain size of the sample, as concluded by Huang et al. [13].
They reported that bigger grain size will have a higher saturation magnetization.
