In recent years, different methods for extraction of essential oils from plant materials have been devised consisting of steam distillation, solvent extraction and supercritical CO2 process.
The influencing factors in the extraction of essential oils derived from white pepper include the size of the seeds, the ratio of raw materials and water, extraction time, extraction temperature.

Introduction Among various oxide semiconductor, Ti-based materials is the most promising and challenging investigated materials because of its characteristics of high chemical stability, nontoxic, low cost and unique photoinduced electron transfer.
The use of Ti-based photocatalyst materials such as energy sources [1,2], environment [3,4], biological sciences [5], medicine [6] and manufacture [7] is an attractive alternative.
Many different preparation methods have been reported for preparing Ti-based photocatalyst materials.

Introduction In the response study of underground structures due to blast over a long distance under elastic range, stiffness of the constituent materials is the governing factor.
The two elastic constant are enough to study the behaviour of such materials [2].
Soil-pipe interaction due to blast depends mainly on stiffness of materials of the components.
This situation may be overcome by using softer material like tire-chip for backfilling.

The Hydrothermal Synthesis of Nano-YSZ Crystallite and the Preparation of YSZ Electrolyte Film for SOFC Baoan Fan1,a 1Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Coal Conversion and New Carbon Materials; College of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430081, P.
Traditionally, the SOFC operational temperature is as high as 1000 °C, which makes SOFC must use expensive LaCrO3 connector and ceramic seal materials.
The traditional materials of electrolyte and anode are YSZ (ZrO2 stabilized by Y2O3) and NiO/YSZ composite respectively.
