It is possible to reduce production of HAp powders by various approaches, such as reducing materials processing step and time, developing a simple synthesis route and using waste or natural materials as sources of raw materials.
Natural materials, such as bovine bone, mollusk shell and eggshell [7] have been used as sources of raw materials for synthesizing HAp powders.
Synthesis of artificial bone material The synthesized CaO nanoparticles and CaHPO4 in both dehydrated and hydrated forms (supplied by Sigma Aldrich) were used as raw materials.
