So it has seriously affected the production and economic benefits.
So intensity values of the unit are selected as a sensitive factor for prediction [3].
KPCA remains a variety of mathematical and statistical properties of PCA and also has the capacity of nonlinear problems.
KPCA provides a possible approach for the mechanical failure prediction.
And it reflects the unit’s overall operating state, so the value of vibration intensity is selected as sensitive factor for the unit status.

Dents not only affect the structural integrity of pipelines but they cause a local decrease in the pipe’s cross-section, which in turn affects the flow through the pipe (Cosham and Hopkins, 2004).
The size, shape, and location of the original dent affect the remaining life, as do external factors such as the constraint provided by the surrounding soil.
The pipe material is steel and the true stress–true strain curves were obtained from tensile experiments and plastic material properties are included, with nonlinear isotropic strain hardening.
The spring back and rerounding behavior of a dent depends upon the pipe geometry, the material properties, whether the pipeline is pressurized or unpressurized, and the shape of the dent.

As the good mechanical properties and simple construction technology of the fiber reinforced concrete, a lot of experimental research have been done.
The fiber can bear some of the tension force, and then tensile properties of the fiber reinforced concrete is improved.
Polypropylene fiber has a certain degree of thickening and weak interface effect because of lower elastic modulus, which is the adverse factors of concrete specimen strength.
Conclusions Through the experimental study on fiber reinforced concrete, some conclusions can be got as following: (1) Mechanical properties of concrete specimen have a certain increase by adding fiber materials.
(4) When sprayed concrete on site, the pellet phenomenon of polypropylene fiber and length of steel fiber may be important factors of the construction quality and schedule.

To date, many investigations have focused on the microstructure and mechanical property of ECAP-processed materials, however, the study on corrosion property is relatively rare.
The study on corrosion resistance of ECAP-processed materials is complex and challenging, because the corrosion resistance will be affected by many factors induced by ECAP, including grain size alteration, changes in dislocation density, increased grain boundary density, particle fragmentation, residual stress, development of texture, as well as different electrolytes [22].
By increasing ECAP passes and annealing, above-mentioned factors will change, thus the corrosion resistance of materials will be affected.
However, Brunner et al. investigated the effect of UFG size on corrosion of single-phase Al–Mg model alloys [15], which revealed the predominant factor on corrosion and corrosion morphology to be dislocation density.
(2) Dislocation density is an very important factor on the corrosion resistance of the Al–3.9%Cu alloy.

Introduction The Al-SiC composite material has a high strength to weight ratio, low coefficient of thermal expansion, low density, enhanced temperature strength, good dimensional stability, highly thermal resistance, highly abrasion resistance, good fatigue resistance, good physical properties and excellent mechanical properties, it is widely used in the aerospace, automotive, military, electronics, sports equipment and other fields [1-10].
Material’s specific physical and mechanical properties are shown in Table 2.
Due to the wide range of various factors, this test select a four-factor five-level full central composite design, the central composite design factor number is 4, the total number of tests is 31, 16 cubic points, the center of the cube point is 7, and 8 pivot point.
Response surface methodology can take the interaction between the various factors into account, to establish a more accurate secondary or higher-order regression model.

The extensive applications of epoxy resins motivate the preparation of organic/ inorganic composites of epoxy resins with better properties and applications.
However, they are frequently subjected to severe environmental conditions, making improvements of its mechanical and thermal properties more desirable (Ahmad et al., 2010).
The moisture effect is interesting to be investigated since the presence of water can affect the chemical and physical properties of epoxy resins.
Temperature plays an important factor in dynamic modelling.

Simulation of Thermal Stress and Hot Tearing in Engine Block Casting Jinxiang Liu1,a, Ridong Liao1,b 1School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing 100081, PR China a liujx@bit.edu.cn, b liaord@bit.edu.cn Keywords: Thermal stress; Hot tearing; Engine block; Finite element analysis Abstract: Using finite element method, a numerical simulation is presented for engine block casting.
In addition, composition can affect hot tearing tendency.
Physically, two factors contribute to hot tearing in the mushy zone.
Tend is the temperature at which bridging of the dendrite arms between grains occurs. b is the solidification shrinkage factor. m is the viscosity of the liquid.
The amount of plastic strain will strongly depend upon the stress properties in the mushy zone.

Introduction Anchorages for CFRP tendon include: Bonded anchorage, Mechanical anchorage and complex anchorage.
The contact parameters: FKN (Act contact stiffness factor to) is 0.3; ICONT (initial near factor) is 0.1; FC (coefficient of friction): between the clip and anchor ring is 0.1, between the clip and the metal cylinder is 0.85; using the Augmented Lagrangian integral algorithm.
The coefficient of friction between the clip and the metal tube affects the stress value.
Summary 1) The numerical model meet the actual situation, which has better applicability. 2) Due to the large differences of material properties and treatments of surface, the F-D curve of the nonlinear spring unit should be improved. 3) When the angle of clips is 6°, the difference angle between clips and anchor ring is 0.1°, and the friction coefficient of the metal tube and clips is 0.9, the anchorage is the best.

The work was focused on the optimization of hydrogen content and deformation conditions with the aim to create the nanostructure in titanium alloys and to enhance their mechanical properties.
The work was focused on the optimization of hydrogen content and deformation conditions with the aim to create the NC structure in titanium alloys and to enhance their mechanical properties.
The affect of hydrogen on mechanical properties and microstructure modification of two-phase titanium alloys is rather intricate since the hydrogen addition changes the phase composition of the alloy, chemical composition of initial phases and their stability [4].
