The finite element analysis is used for general experimental mechanics of materials.
Conclusion In the experiments of mechanics of materials in current, this paper introduces the finite element analysis software ANSYS, through the application of the finite element method to simulate the pure bending beam test, the abstract concept of material mechanics expressed in very intuitive form, and it is verified by experiments, the innovative engineering education has developed a method for engineering education, provide an effective way for the innovation of experimental mechanics of materials.

Wire cut Electrical discharge machining techniques have been already tried with some other high strength materials which is complicated to cut.
Machining a Titanium material is peculiar one.
They concluded increase of pulse on time increases the material removal rate (MRR).
