This paper used the finite element software ABAQUS to the bearing capacity and ductility of the steel tube concrete piers for fire performance research, after analysis of steel tube concrete piers in the high temperature changes in the loss of bearing capacity and ductility performance, concrete filled steel tube to reasonable formulation in our country fire prevention design standard and fire after the repair and reinforcement of the structure of the steel tube concrete finite element test data.
As can be seen from the diagram above, with the increase of temperature, pier reaches ultimate bearing capacity of the displacement gradually reduced, specific data as shown in Table 1.
Through the finite element calculation program, the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge piers are calculated respectively in other temperature after the loss, through the study found that, when the temperature at 500 ˚C, the bearing capacity of the bridge has a tendency to decline with the rise of temperature, but the decline range is not obvious, ultimate bearing capacity loss within 30%, the shape of the load-curve the same as the curve of the normal temperature; when the temperature between 500 ˚C -1000 ˚C, there is a significant reduction for the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge pier after high temperature, ultimate bearing capacity loss within 80%.
Finally, although the material yield strength and ultimate bearing capacity with the rising of temperature greatly reduced, but it is not hard to see from the curve of concrete filled steel tubular composite performance is still good, its mechanical properties are still superior plastic, no signs of brittle failure; it is because of this characteristic, concrete filled steel tube structure is widely used in civil engineering, significant importance on the structural stability and seismic disaster reduction.
