Theoretical analysis based on energy method is first presented, the buffering process of honeycomb material can be divided into three phases, honeycomb material can be equivalent to orthotropic material and the equivalent material properties are given.

Effect of the Amount of Recycled Materials on Properties and Microstructure of the Al2O3-C Materials

Samples of Al2O3-C materials were prepared, based on the tabular corundum and recycled materials as raw materials, natural graphite as carbon source, Si as antioxidant and phenolic resin as binder.
In China, the waste of refractory materials are usually burried, while the recycled materials only accounted for 30%[3].
Experiment 1.1 Raw materials for experiment Tabular corundum and recycled material which is 0.5~0.1mm in particle size are used as the raw materials for experiment.
Therefore the strength of samples decrease. 2.2 Effect of the amount of recycled materials on microstructure of the Al2O3-C materials Photos of samples added recycled materials and not by SEM are shown as Fig.2.
