By making the host materials as the constant variable, the study of boro-tellurite glasses can be extended to observe the relationship of modifier and dopant salt, which are lithium carbonate and neodymium oxide respectively, to the host materials.
However, some researches on the effectiveness of alkaline metal oxide modifier to host materials (boro-tellurite glasses) were not well-presented and discussed.
