Abstract.
The doping of rare earth is very important for improvement of the optical and luminescence properties of the materials.
The raw materials used for glass forming are the boric acid (H3BO3), sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), calcium carbonate (CaCO3), dysprosium (III) oxide (Dy2O3) are selected in the fine powdered with 99.99% purity, with different concentrations and generated by Aldrich Company.
Acknowledgements The authors would like to thank Center of Excellence in Glass Technology and Material Science, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, for instrument and facilities.
Moorthy, Optical absorption and luminescence characteristics of Dy3+ doped zinc alumino bismuth borate glasses for lasing materials and white LEDs, J.
