Recent research works indicate that magnesium alloy can be used for constructing light weight armor because of its density, which is 35% lower than aluminium and 77% lower than steel and also it exhibits superior vibration damping and better failure mechanisms than the contemporary ballistic materials.
As the thickness was increased plugging failure of the material was seen.
Projectiles hitting the target material either completely penetrated it or partially penetrated it both causing a deflection of material at the other face of the target.

Preparation and characterization of CePO4 coated ZrO2 composite powders by Hydrothemal method Jing Wang Xin Wang* Wenlai Zhang Qiuju Zheng Jihui Xu (Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao China,266100) E-mail address: wangjing8354@yahoo.cn; wangxinhd@ouc.edu.cn Keywords: hexagonal monoclinic hydrothemal method Abstract: The hexagonal and the monoclinic CePO4 with rod-like coated ZrO2 composite powders were successfully synthesized through the hydrothemal method. the coated powders were characterized by the techniques of XRD, TEM, DTA and zeta potential measurements.
In addition, the morphology of the coated powders after calcinations at 1000°C was also investigated. 1.Introduction Ceramic materials have been used as engineering materials because of their high strength and high hareness.
In order to improve the machinability of this ceramic materials, one metrod is to introduce another weak interphase or layered structure material into the matrix to facilitate crack deflection during machining[3].

Introduction DMSs are semiconducting materials in which a fraction of the host cations can be substitutionally replaced by magnetic ions or appropriate rare earths.
Some studies have revealed that Mn-doped ZnO materials exhibit different magnetic behaviors under the influences of the fabrication conditions and sample processing, which has been list in Table 1.

Materials and methods 1.1 microorganisms and fermentation materials In the study, the anaerobic fermentation of kitchen waste proceeded by inoculated with mixed activated sludge and fresh cow muck.
The ideal adding acidification material proportion was 1/4 of total fermentation materials , and the process could gradually get acid tolerated methanogens, which was beneficial to the high TS fermentation.

Introduction Current research in material science is largely focused on finding different composite materials, especially natural fibre composites, which are on par with glass fibre composites in terms of factors such as low weight, cost-effectiveness, man’s desire to go for natural products, environment-friendliness, renewable nature, biodegradability with respect to the fibre and use of plants and trees which involves less processing.
