Interaction of building thermal technics with building aerodynamics in problem solving of physical cavities of double-skin transparent facades Boris Bielek1, a* 1Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Radlinskeho 11, 810 05 Bratislava, Slovak republic aboris.bielek@stuba.sk Keywords: Double-skin transparent façade, physical cavity, renewable source of solar energy, total aerodynamic resistance of the cavity, aerorynamic coefficient of external pressure Abstract.
Introduction The goal of this paper is to highlight the fact that the development of new facade technology of low-energy buildings in modern architecture utilising an alternative source of solar radiation is unthinkable without the application of inputs of wind engineering in the form of aerodynamic quantification of the building whether the aerodynamic quantification of its special physical cavities.
The development of this new transformed scientific field is conditioned by the aerodynamic quantification of buildings and their elements, which can provide only the specific development of wind engineering also to the field of technical aspect of architecture.
