This paper summarized the research work carried out by a team from Department of Steel Structures and Structural Mechanics, together with Department of Materials Science and Engineering, from University Politehnica Timisoara, which tried to determine the possibility to use welding for obtaining built-up cold-formed steel beams made of corrugated galvanized steel sheets (grade S350GD+Z).
However, the main advantage of MIG brazing is the low temperature developed in the electric arc, which is lower than the fusing temperature of the base materials (galvanized steel grade S350GD+Z used in our investigations), the filler material, by capillarity fills the gap between the base materials and creates the brazed joint.
There were a very small number of samples the fail by an interfacial fracture between the two materials.

The FEM software PLAXIS was used to carry out two-dimensional simulations. The 15-node flat triangular element was chosen to mesh the culvert, fill, slope etc., In the surface between the materials, the contact elements were used.

One of the promising ways is the use of rubber waste as a part of various construction materials[1],[4],[5].
They usually produce low-quality materials due to the deterioration of chemical compatibility and/or interfacial interaction between rubber crumb particles and the elastomer matrix.

Development of technology in synthesizing a novel nanoscale material has been the main concern in the current material science.
The existence of other carbon related materials such as amorphous or graphitized forms of carbon can be determined from the thermal analysis which showed lower thermal stability compared to CNTs.
