Research on the capability of basal layer stabilized gravel by cement and fly-ash Yumin Han1a, Xiaoxing Shi1b,Li Wang1c,Daoming Zhang1d 1.College of Civil Engineering, Baicheng Normal University, Baicheng Jilin, China a. hanyumin9916@163.com ; b.xiaoxing_8162@163.com; c.wangli_6232463@163.com; d. zdmzdm@sina.com Keyword: basal layer; stabilized gravel by cement and fly-ash; grade of gravel Abstract—Aiming at the basal layer demand on pavement performance in Tu – Wu Highway of Baicheng diversion road, based on the theory of gradution in mixture, experimental studies have been done in grade of gravel and road performance of stabilized gravel by cement and fly-ash.
In order to make sure that the subgrade base course of stabilized gravel by cement and fly-ash has the enough early cracking resistance, combined with the synthesis grade of the compound designed in the indoor experiment of Baicheng diversion road of Tu – Wu Highway, based on the synthesis grade designed meanwhile, according to Test Methods of Materials Stabilized with Inorganic Binders for Highway Engineering(JTG E57—2009) [6], this paper carries out 3-group unconfined compressive strength test of the stabilized gravel by cement and fly-ash and the stabilized gravels by cement, and the details are shown in Table 2.
