This paper describes preparation of the bio-based polyurethanes from the rapeseed oil polyols, solution incorporation of three diverse nanoclay additives and investigation of the mechanical property for the prepared materials.
Materials As nanoclays organically modified montmorillonite of grades Dellite® D43, CW9, D67 are used; they are supplied by Laviosa Chimica Mineraria S.p.A..

Introduction Formaldehyde (CHOH) is one of the harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCS) emitted by wood furniture, interior decoration materials, plastics, fabrics, and so on[1-4].
The fabricated sensor of LaFe0.7Zn0.3O3 showed large sensitivity to formaldehyde gas, high selectivity against toluene, acetone and methanol at operating temperature of 250℃ and quick response, indicating the potential applications using Zn-LaFeO3 materials for formaldehyde gas sensing.
