According to the good nonlinear mapping ability of BP neural network, indirect problems like damage identification, location and calibration of degree in engineering structure can be transformed into direct problems.
This showed that the neural network which only contains an intermediate layer (that is three layers) could meet the requirements of engineering accuracy.

Abstract: Concrete slab in the negative moment area of continuous steel-concrete composite beams is prone to crack due to the low tension strength of common concrete, which could result in the decreasing of the strength and durability.
The section size, the material of steel beam and the reinforcement ratio in concrete slab are unchanged, the RPC slab is replaced with ordinary concrete slab, it is obtained that the cross section failure of steel-RPC composite beam belongs to the failure mode 1, to calculate using formulas of (7) ~ (21), when the concrete slab in the negative moment region is tensile, the RPC slab will be cracking limit state, the cross section ultimate limit bearing capacity is MuRPC=564.3KN∙m, which is large than ultimate limit bearing capacity after corresponding ordinary composite beams is cracking. 3.4 parametric analysis In the current period, Due to only 200 MPa RPC is applied to the engineering practice, the effect of strength of the material is not considered in the parametric analysis, only it are analyzed that the ratio of RPC slab thickness hc and the combination beam total height h , the ratio of the effective width be of RPC slabs and steel beam flange width bs and the effect of the
