The finite element technique is a method which is quickly developed in the calculator science and the basic theories of the rock soil mechanics.
The base parameter of material as follows: concrete density γc=2400Kg/m3,water density γ0=1000kg/m3, sediment buoyant density γc=900Kg/m3.
Conclusions From above calculating result about anti-sliding stability safety factor of the gravidity dam by rigid body limit equilibrium method and FEM, we can get conclusions as follows: the safety factor from rigid body limit equilibrium method is bigger than that from FEM, it signals that rigid body limit equilibrium method is more safe and conservative than FEM. the result from FEM is closer to the gravity dam because it accord with the project fact by considering uneven material.

Wood composite materials were created as an alternative to solid wood and their specific properties enabled the use of wood materials in fields where solid wood was used ineffectively or could not be used at all.
Moreover, the production of wood composite materials enables valuation of wood residue [1,2].

The slag contains non-renewable raw materials, minerals.
That is why recycling of these materials is highly appropriate from environmental and economical aspects.
Introduction The industry heavily consumes resources, raw materials, and produces a huge amount of waste.
Environmental regulations require manufacturers to use more efficient emission reduction and reduce waste of raw materials.
The submerged arc welding is a versatile welding method for welding materials thicker than 2 mm.

Introduction Multiferroic materials that combine spontaneous magnetization with spontaneous polarization have recently attracted a surge of attention.
However, the toxicity of lead has raised concerns and more environmentally friendly lead-free piezoelectric materials are in urgent demand.

Geopolymeric materials and cement blends can be used for a number of applications such as fire and acid resistant materials, immobilization of heavy metals, bonding of metal and ceramic surfaces, and various structural materials [2].
A particular structural feature of zeolites relative to other aluminosilicate materials, and other crystalline materials in general, is the existence of channels and/or cavities linked by channels.
