Abstract: This paper deals with alkylation of benzene with propylene to produce cumene by Suspension Catalytic Distillation (SCD) which, as a new technology of process intensification, has been developed from traditional catalytic distillation.
The resulting Jacobian matrix has a block tridiagonal structure.
