The main theoretical results were obtained by using approaches based on classical methods of calculating machine parts, theory of machines and mechanisms, tribology and triboengineering, kinetic theory of fracture of materials.
A work-piece is a gear wheel of 20 mm module, material – 40ХМ.
Thus, the use of modern tool materials allows implementing a fundamentally new technology for gear wheels milling by using a form-generating method [18 – 24].
Simultaneously with the change of tool materials and application of wear-resistant coatings, the design of modern hob cutters was also changed, so they had an extended working section length compared to standard cutters.

Introduction Geopolymers is an amorphous to semi-crystalline three-dimensional alumino-silicate materials, developed by Davidovits in 1978, with the chemical compositions similar to zeolites.
Experiment work 2.1 Raw materials The characteristics of raw materials of metakaolin-based geopolymer paste used are described as follows: (1) Metakaolin (MK): The metakaolin was the product of kaolin by heat-treatment at 700 oC for 3h.

Main focus is on the application of tungsten and tungsten nitride coatings for functionally graded materials (FGM).
The state of the art application of these proceduresis the preparation of functionally graded materials (FGM).
Experimental Materials.
Four basic categories of materials were selected (1) Oxide ceramics (Al2O3 both from standard powder and nanometric powder, ZrO2), (2) Cermets (WC+Co), (3) Mixed ceramics (EUCOR), (4) Reference materials (pure tungsten, ORVAR tool steel).
