Then the paper calculates the loss factor of viscoelastic free layer damping structure with engineering empirical formula, and compares the result with that obtained by finite element method.
Free damping layer structure is widely used in engineering because it has simple structure, wide application range and simple manufacturing process.
The paper takes a sheet with one fixed end for example to do the research about reducing vibration of free damping layer structure, establishes the mechanical model of free damping layer sheet, analyzes the dynamic characteristics of it, studies the theory of reducing vibration of damping layer on the sheet and the method of optimized design, discusses engineering application and criterion.
