The wave beam can be produced by a piezoelectric transducer in which the active element (thin ceramic disk) converts electrical pulses in mechanical vibrations.
In our experimental work, the ceramic disks have an 18 mm diameter and are connected to a pulse generator.
Both the pulse generators and the ceramic disks have to be cooled less than 40 °C to prevent deterioration.

Theory Analysis of Functionally Graded Materials Cylindrical Shell Buckling under Pure Bending Wei Cheng1, a, Zhigang Wang1,b and Shuchang Long 1,c 1 School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, Guangdong, 510640, China a503204886@qq.com, bwzgscut@126.com, c249412226@qq.com Keywords: Functionally graded materials, Cylindrical shell, Buckling of bending Abstract.
Introduction In 1984, the Japanese scientists synthesised the heterogeneous materials-functionally gradient materials(FGMs)which was made of ceramic and metal.
At this time the result of formula (14)has the same value with the isotropic ceramic material pipe.
