Sustainable Electrochemical Machining of Additively Manufactured Nitinol with Deep Eutectic Solvents
Online since: April 2026
Authors: Alessia Serena Perna, Fabio Scherillo
During melting, the volatility of nickel and the high reactivity of titanium complicate control over the final alloy composition, while powder production introduces further challenges related to oxidation, impurity uptake and surface chemistry.
In particular, Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) enables the fabrication of dense or porous structures with intricate geometries, internal channels and spatially controlled microstructures [7].
Compositional analysis of the surface after treatment was carried out by energy dispersive spectroscopy to assess potential changes in alloy chemistry induced by the electrochemical process.

Simulants should truly reflect the interaction between food and packaging materials, especially when in contact with the liquid food packaging, often interact with them into the packaging material, thus affecting the structure and properties of packaging materials, including the impact on the transport characteristics of packaging material, The results led to errors.

TiO2 (especially anatase), due to the strong resistance ability to sulfur poisoning, the excellent mechanical characteristics and the ideal pore structure characteristics, is widely used as a carrier to support other oxides as low temperature SCR catalysts.

It is based on methods of strings matching and clustering, applied
extensively in genetics, molecular chemistry and biological sciences.
Consequently, they take no account of necessary production information, such as process alternatives, production quantities or constraints of the transport structure [1, 4].
Once the respective part flow allocation has been accomplished, an optimized compact structure of the facility could be determined (Fig. 3).
The results reveal the noticeable advantage of group machining in modular structures with shared resources over the machining job shop, considering FIFO rule.
Generated cell structures exhibit noticeable stability and flexibility as their modules are characterized by definite material flow patterns.

Schematic illustration of nanocomposites structures [8]
Experiment Details
Fabrication of nanoclay-filled Epikote 828 polymer.
Figure 2 shows that epoxy reinforced with Nanomer I.28 clay has only ordered intercalates structure with a range of basal spacing 3 nm-6 nm.
Than, it was proved that three-roll mill method was achieved to turn out an exfoliated structure of clay nanocomposites.
These indicate that the nanocomposite has an intercalated structure.

The conclusion of this paper can contribute to the related research structure about the soil micro-mesostructures.
Fig.3 shows SEM appearance, Fig.4 shows SEM’s internal structure.
In order to improve the accuracy of image analysis, image segmentation must filter out the existence of some isolated after a single point, but do not change the soil reunion body and pore structure.
SEM image formation cannot directly reflect micro-structure changes of the soil surface, and must be assisted by the IPP software.

The structure of the bentonite suspension with the addition of AS is looser and better shaped (Fig. 3c).
The structure of bentonite with AS+SS (Fig. 2e,f and 3d) is characterized by a more pronounced orientation, order and dispersion of aggregated structural units, and anisometry of their shape.
It is likely that the high surface energy of the nanoparticles passes into the surrounding matrix and initiates the process of layer-by-layer growth of the ordered structure of this matrix.

The chemistry process may expand the volume of the concrete building and produce the local concentrated stress.
The expansion may get strong with time and change the uniform previous structure of concrete to result in the deformation, expansion and destroy of the building ( M.D.A.
At the second stage, the amount of expansion materials generate great expansion stress, destroy the pore structure and expand the small cracks.
Fig.2 X-ray diffraction experiment analysis of eroded buildings The pore structure and porosity are also important factors influencing the anti-corrosion ability of concrete.
Durability of concrete structure.
