Experiment Research on Shear Strength of RC Beams with High-strength Stirrup Chunmin Dong 1, a, Xinyan Lin 2,b 1,2 School of Civil Engineering, Henan Polytechnic University,Jiaozuo 454000, P.R.
Introduction With the application of Code for Design of Reinforced Concrete Structure (Consultative Paper) (GB50010-200x)(Code)[1], the high strength reinforcement will be adopted in practice engineering.
However, the shear strength of RC beam improved by flange is not considered in the Code, which is disagreement with the practice engineering.
In practical engineering, the slabs are generally cast with beams together to form T-shape beams.
Thusly, if construction quality can be supervised , the shear strength of RC beam improved by loading pattern can be considered in practical engineering[5].
