Introduction
Boron carbide (B4C), unique properties along high neutron absorption cross-section make it as a functional ceramics in various sectors like medical, defense, nuclear, electronic, etc,.[1] In the various advanced engineering sectors the requirement for functionalized surfaces having high hardness, ductility, lubricity, corrosion and wear resistant along with extended service lifetime and low cost enhanced the studies on ceramic particle reinforcement composites.[2] Boron carbide-aluminum composites find extensive applications where mechanical, thermal stability and light weight properties need to be in accord[3].
