Results and Discussion X-ray diffraction diagrams revealed typical spinel structure of magnetite (Fig. 1), in the case of the sample prepared following the first method, the XRD diagram being almost identical with those of standard literature reports, while in the case of the second sample additional peaks of hematite and maghemite were found (Fig. 2).
