Based on theory of fractal dimension:AC-13 dense gradation asphalt mixed material should have been the most dense in theory, but the set material and asphalt can not reach that dense state as mixed material internal exists micro-gap, micro-crack.
It shows fine material and asphalt mixed material will fill the gap more effective as D value increases.
This further proves fractal theory can apply for asphalt mixed material successful and the theory is expected to become a guide material design of quantitative indicators.
