Its grain composition,%: residue on the grid No. 3 is 2 - 5; residue on the grid No. 2 is 8 - 14; passage through the grid No. 0.5 is 46 - 51; passage through the grid No. 0.1 is 27 - 32.
Diagram of the of Al2O3 - SiO2 state: 1 - region of the liquid phase; II - liquid phase + mullite (3Al2O3 × 2SiO2); III - mullite + cristobalite (SiO2); IV - liquid phase + corundum (Al2O3); V - corundum + mullite The quantitative application of different fractions of electrocorundum was determined from the condition of maximum preservation of the initial quartzite grain composition.
Control sieving showed that the required number of fractions (pass through the grid No. 0.5) instead of 46 - 51% was 48 - 52% and should not worsen the properties of the lining.

It can be speculated that most of milling energy was consumed for grain refinement by particle pulverization in the initial stage of milling [11], but the milling energy could be consumed for lattice straining rather than grain refinement in the case of prolonged milling. 4.

Mechanical properties of the sintered carbides are determined mainly by the densification and grain size in the sintered material.
Less grain growth of the NbC and ZrC particles was observed for samples with the 2.5% graphene addition.

This is caused by the particle corsening due to grain growth at higher temperatures.
The increase of the grain size upon high temperature calcination could have an influence on the optical property of the structure.

Results and Discussion 3.1 Crystal Structure and Surface Morphology XRD was usually used for crystal phase identification and further to estimate the grain size.
After an immersion time of 21 days, the number of these ball-like particles increase, and the surface is totally covered by the newly formed layer.
On the other hand, the nanocrystalline BaTiO3/TiO2 specimens not only provide finer grain size, it also provide denser structure to enhance the corrosion resistance and bioactive

The HA fibers were approximately 500-600μm in diameter after drying in the oven (based on number average calculations and measured using digital image analysis) and should thinned to 200-300μm in diameter by drawing and other treatments such as texturing and entanglement after extrusion. 2.2 Original scaffold block fabrication.
An important transformation of HA particle aggregates is sintering which can occur among contacting grains at temperatures below the melting point.
The result of sintering was that macroscopic material properties of aggregates such as strength, thermal conductivity, collision behavior, fiber compacting and pore configuration in scaffold, changed due to microscopic solid connections between the previously separate grains.

It is clear that the HAZ with about 100μm width is divided into two distinct areas: (1) The area from perforated surface to 20μm-40μm distance is oxidized, in which microvoid with bigger size distributes intensively and homogeneously and there are much more damage of micro pits and micro cracks. (2) The rest area has large number of sparse microvoid with smaller size.
Fig. 1 Scanning electron microscopy of the HAZ near the perforated surface Generally, the cavities are nucleated at grain boundary or triple junction [7].
As no grain boundary in DD6 sheet, the microvoid is prone to nucleate at the internal inclusions or intragranular second phase particles such as carbide particles.

Contact via dimensions share the same nomenclature with the first number as the width in µm and the second as the length in µm via (e.g. 66-25), as labeled in Fig. 1b).
The connections between Ti3SiC2 and the metallization appear to be grains with some crystalline character.
The small grains on the SiC surface of the 16-3 via are assumed to be Al-rich [8].
