Domşa, then by other Department members in Cluj, as well as from Bucharest, Timisoara, Iasi, Galati, Craiova, including within certain co-specializations (metallurgy, metal studies, physics metallurgy, metals' technology, materials' science).
The setting up, at the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca, of the first department of specialization in the materials science in Romania and of the first Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering (1990) brought new premises for research and intern and international cooperation in the domain of powders metallurgy.
Some of them: sintered magnetic materials, contact materials, heavy alloys for high voltage switches, carbonated materials (electrographitic metal-graphite, bakelite - graphite, hard carbon), and ceramics.
The Department main interests were in Powder Metallurgy and Metallic Materials.

Radially Symmetric Deformation of Spherical Shell Composed of Composite Compressible Hyperelastic Materials Datian Niua, Xuegang Yuanb, Hongmei Deng School of Science, Dalian Nationalities University, Dalian 116600, Liaoning, China aniudt@dlnu.edu.cn, byuanxg@dlnu.edu.cn Keywords: compressible hyperelastic material, system of nonlinear differential equations, parametrical analytic solution, compression, inflation Abstract.
In this paper, we investigate the radial compression and inflation of a spherical shell composed of two compressible hyperelastic materials.
Introduction The deformation problems of nonlinear compressible hyperelastic materials, which arise from the fields of mechanics, applied mathematics, material science, etc., have been of concern for a long time.
Horgan, et al [1-4] studied the cavitation of compressible cylinder and sphere composed of different hyperelastic materials and discussed the influence of the material parameters and the stress distribution.

Since the shear buckling of 2-D lattice materials is an important collapse mode especially when relative densities are low, shear buckling strength of various 2-D lattice materials have also been calculated.
Shear buckling strength of various 2-D lattice materials are calculated and the comparison indicates that the mixed cell exhibits the lowest shear buckling resistance.

The cathode material with excellent electrochemical performance was obtained by sintering the mixed raw materials with n (Li)/n (M) =1.11.
So many efforts have been made to develop new materials as alternatives to LiCoO2.
Recently, layered materials LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 have been extensively investigated due to its excellent electrochemical, and safety characteristics and the potential application as cathode materials for lithium secondary battery.
