Commonly, ZnO exists in wurtzite structure, however it can be synthesized in ZB structure by epitaxial growth on a cubic substrate [22-23].
To achieve more realistic picture of the electronic structure, we have applied additional mBJ potential to GGA which is recommended for the calculation of more accurate band structure calculation [29].
Consequently, these materials can find applications in optoelectronics with WZ structure and in spintronics with ZB structure.

Compared with amorphous and conventional coarse-grain structure coatings, the refined nickel grains with nanometre size grants not only high hardness but also good corrosion resistance for the nanocrystalline structure Ni-P coating.

As the β' phase increases and the Widmanstätten α structure forms, the hardness value of the microstructure increases by 80%.
