Introduction The increasing demand to healthy water has led to rapid progress in the field of dam engineering and construction of different dams all over the world.
Although the structural analysis and design of dams have been improved significantly in recent years, but dam break is an inescapable phenomenon in dam engineering proficiency.

Analysis of the mechanical properties of cement silo structure Hong Gan1, a, Yizhen Yang 2,b 1 The President′s office, Anhui Polytechnic University, 8 Beijing Road in Wuhu, China 241000 2 College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Anhui Polytechnic University, 8 Beijing Road in Wuhu, China 241000 agh@ahpu.edu.cn, byyiz2006@163.com Keywords: Cement silo, displacement, stress Abstract.
Introduction In cement silo of engineering design, usually used PKPM software to for simulation calculation, but due to cement silo is special of tube warehouse structure, PKPM under construction die calculation analysis is large of errors, especially on large range opening department and pour cone and library wall contact department, stress concentrated phenomenon serious, PKPM calculation cannot reflected in the engineering is through experience and industry specification forced requirements for design [1], such on will makes design relative fuzzy, security and economic sexual have not to guarantees.
Fig.7 Seek to the Y direction Fig.8 Seek to the Z direction From X direction and Y direction Shang of stress figure Shang, we can seen, its maximum pressure stress for 0.182E+08pa that 18.2Mpa, over C30 concrete of compressive strength design value, maximum pull stress 0.147E+08pa that 14.7Mpa, over C30 concrete of tensile strength design value, so in theoretically concrete structure has destruction, but actual engineering in the we through enjoy reinforced, let reinforced bear part of force, and reduces concrete of destruction.
Conclusions Can be seen from analysis of structures under full load conditions, concrete structure has on the deformation and stress damage occurs, but in practical engineering, we use reinforced by increasing the support structures, to reduce the impact of local stress brought about by the deformation and structure.

Free vibration analysis and damage identification of beam-like structures containing a crack based on the extended finite element method Xiaodong Zhang 1,a 1 State Key Laboratory of Bridge engineering Structural Dynamics, China Merchants Chongqing Communications Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd., Chongqing, China P.R. 400067 azhangxd00@yahoo.com.cn Key words: the extended finite element method(XFEM); free vibration; natural frequency; damage identification; crack Abstract: A scheme is presented for the free vibration analysis of beam-like structures containing a crack with the extended finite element method(XFEM).
A new method for the damage identification of a cantilever beam containing a crack is then presented. 1 Introduction Beams are common structures used to carry and transfer high loads in civil engineering structures and cracks are the main cause of structure failure.
It is of great engineering significance to develop nondestructive technique to detect the cracks in beam-like structures.

Analysis of the Tunnel Supporting System 2D elasto-plastic plane strain finite element system of geotechnical engineering is adopted to simulate and analyze the excavation method of the double-decked tunnel.
In the elasto-plastic analysis of geotechnical engineering, associated flow law is usually employed[4].
After that the internal force of lining has been figured out, we must do the strength checking calculation to see whether the safety factor meet the requirement of “Technical Specification for Railway Engineering”.
