In the industrial sphere, power plants have the greatest potential capacities of CO2 reduction.
The energy derived from the biomass may be considered to substitute for fossil fuel and therefore the recovery of energy from biomass is considered to contribute to a reduction in the carbon dioxide emissions.
b) Pyrolysis of wood and energy production A higher grade of reduction in CO2 emissions compared to biomass combustion can be achieved by the process of pyrolysis of wood and other forms of biomass, production of biochar and C sequestration in the biochar [20].
The addition of biochar to the soil allowed for a 70% reduction of nitrous oxide fluxes from soil [21].

Optical absorption coefficient (α) for PEDOT:PSS thin film on glass is then calculated using Eq. (2) at different wavelengths using the reflection and transmission data from the UVVISNIR spectrophotometer measurements [13].
The significant reduction in the WAR is attributed to combination of enhanced light coupling by the nanotextures and increased light scattering by the underlying microscale pyramids [11,17].
After depositing PEDOT:PSS, all the samples (including planar reference c-Si) show further reduction in the WAR due to the ARC nature of the polymer.
Further reduction of WAR by 1.5% (from 9.2% to 7.7%) and 2.0% (from 7.2% to 5.2%) is evident for PEDOT:PSS deposited on b-Si and hybrid textures respectively.
The non-conformal coating causes an increased in Rs, which leads to a slight reduction in effective nh and an increase in µh.

The stabilization by particle size reduction method has attracted many researchers due to their high specific surface area and porosity for promoting adsorption.
TGA data was obtained with model STA (Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer) 1500 (Rheometric Scientific Ltd, UK), over nitrogen and at a heating rate of 10°C/min from 50oC to 1000oC.
TEM analysis revealed more crystalline particles and a reduction in particle size of zirconia nanopartcles as shown in Figure 4 (b-f).
We found that higher temperature reaction have effect on the size reduction of zirconia nanoparticles, which will be a filler in Nafion® membrane.
The size reduction was also confirmed by HR-TEM atomic structure shown in Figure 5.

To analyse the Dit across the entire SiC bandgap one may combine the electrical data on n- and ptype MOS capacitors obtained from capacitance and ac conductance-voltage measurements [5,8,9].
In line with this observation it was found that the application of specific anti-carbon surface cleaning steps (UV-ozone exposure) may effectuate a significant reduction in the SiC/SiO2 Dit [15].
When reducing the SiC bandgap width from 4H- to 6H- and further to 15R-SiC, one observes a systematic improvement in the surface electron mobility suggesting a reduction in Dit.
Recently a drastic Dit reduction near the conduction band was reported for the more narrow-gap 3CSiC [29].
Electrical analysis indicates a significant reduction of Dit in such nitrided oxides as compared to the standard dry O2 oxidation.

Dehydration of food products is a widely used process to improve food stability by reducing the water activity of the product, with consequent reduction of microbiological activity and minimization of some physical and chemical changes during storage [9].
The increase in the demand for food in the world has motivated the search for alternative sources for food as well as for new technological processes, aiming at the reduction of the costs of products and of positive impact in meeting the nutritional demands [12].
Firstly, each part of the tamarind (shell, pulp and seeds) was subjected to a fractionation process, that is, the reduction to the maximum possible size of the raw material.
One factor that may explain the reduction of the drying time of the pulp in relation to the bark and the seeds was the fact that the peels and the seeds have spread more evenly on the plate when compared to the pulp.
These data demonstrate that the flour can be considered a good energetic source, especially the flour of the peels.

One-way ANOVA and Tukey’s multiple comparison tests at a p<0.05 significance level were used to analyse the data.
Following data collection, statistical analysis was carried out by PASW program (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL).
The normally distributed data were analysed with one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s multiple comparison tests at a 0.05 significance level.
The reduction in strength can be explained by: 1) the increased amount of filler particles within PMMA resin induce stress concentration and produce change in both flexural modulus and propagation of crack, 2) entrapped air and moisture promote void formation within PMMA resin, 3) cross-section of the load-bearing polymer matrix is reduced, 4) incomplete wetting of the fillers by the resin, and 5) some fillers serve as an foreign particles which affect the structural integrity of PMMA resin.

Vibration data acquisition device and Datalog DasyLab 5.6 software were used to analyze machining vibration.
Germain et al. [14] used Laser Assisted Machining (LAM) of Inconel 718 and obtained significant reduction of cutting force using carbide inserts.
National Instruments Data Acquisition (NI DAQ-9172) device and Datalog DasyLab 5.6 software were used to record and analyze the vibration during the machining operations (Fig. 4).
Fig. 4: Schematics of the data acquisition system Fig. 3: Picture of SEM JSM-T330 Three primary process parameters were chosen: (1) Cutting speed (Vc, m/min), (2) Feed rate (f, mm/tooth), and Depth of cut (DOC, mm).

Partial reduction of the cyclophane (at an applied bias of +2 V) is necessary to regenerate [A 0] co-conformer.
Results and discussion Quantum chemical calculations have correctly reflected that catA 0 is oxidized to catB + very due to sulfur of the tetrathiafulvalene unit, as well as at the reduction catA 0 → catAB# the nitrogen of bipyridine is reduced first of all.
Taking into account the known experimental data on the energy of activation in similar catenanes (10 kcal/mol), it is possible to assume that at room temperature rotation is possible with times of about several tens of milliseconds.
It remains only to suppose that assigned distribution of charges is an essential factor in the rotation of the rings; but nevertheless, the assignment is well coordinated to known data from electrochemistry [14].

RSM is a vital tool for designing experiments and analyzing data for model prediction and selection of the best equation that represents the experimental results (Douglas, 2005; Kathleen et al, 2004).This design technique allows a process to be optimized using relatively few experiments when there are a large number of input parameters.
This reduction of MRR occurs due to the instability of spark at this stage.
The heat generated during machining at this stage was easily removed, facilitating a reduction of temperature around the surface of copper electrode.
This is due to the reduction in recast layer thickness during machining.

Easy removal of the rod from the equipment, a significant reduction in model wear as well as a reduction in pollution and breakage of models make it possible to organize storage of core boxes and models as close as possible to the place of their use.
