The specific weight and percentage of absorption was also determined, taking as data the specific weight saturated with dry surface (Pe sss = 2.65), the specific weight (Pe = 2.62) and the percentage of absorption (%A = 0.96).
We decompose the gravel to obtain the right diameter for our calculation (data) V.
We test with the simple compression machinery to obtain the data of last effort and the settlement of each specimen. 1 2 3 4 5 Fig. 2.
Analysis and Results In the following tables we can see the data obtained by the simple compression machine of the different schemes already explained above.
The reduction of the settlement obtained by the hybrid column technique is directly related to the distribution of the average soil tension with the hybrid column.

A least square fit to the data in Fig. 1b indicated
that the net donor concentration, Nd of the 3C-SiC film was 8.3 (± 0.3) × 10
16 cm-3, which gives an
excellent fit to the measured data in Fig. 1a.
We modelled the experimental data in terms of the theoretical work of Nicollian and Goetzberger [5], and we used the statistical model for the equivalent parallel conductance Gp from which the interface state density (Dit) can be extracted.
A theoretical fit to the experimental data results in the determination of Rs, σn, Dit and σs.
There appears a correlation between the decrease in the Dit and reduction of σn near the band edge, but further works are necessary in order to understand this phenomenon.

In this paper, according to the data of Tangshan Binhai Avenue sandbag cofferdam’s landslide accident, we integrate stability checking calculation using method of limit equilibrium, analysis and adjustment of parameters, comparing with finite element numerical simulation and other means, in order to analyze this nearly horizontal plane landslide, summarize its genesis, deformation mechanism, and provide prevention basis for this kind of landslide.
Using the data got from soil experiment and displacement of embankment monitored on -site, we make back analysis of the soil’s mechanical parameters, main soil layer distribution and physical properties of this section are shown in Table 1.
Although this data has certain deviation with the actual result, it could explain the phenomenon that the cofferdam has been damaged and validate the results from limit equilibrium method.
Because the construction rate is rapid, the pore water is not easy to dissipate from foundation soil in low permeability layers, so the appropriate reduction of c, is needed to reducing the value of shear strength of soil and get results closer to the actual data.

From statistical data, the growth rate of convenient stores in Thailand is rapidly increasing [1].
The results from previous study [2] showed that the improvement of store’s envelopes can achieved the reduction of cooling load of the stores up to 10% only.
Table 1 shows the basic data regarding the construction of the store.
Basic information of the convenience store for this study Floor area in sales area / non-sales area 138 m2 / 50 m2 Ceiling height 2.64 m Store’s orientation North Sales area’s envelope materials Clear glass, 10 mm thick Non-sales area’s envelope materials Concrete wall, 100mm thick Roof’s material Metal sheet, 0.5mm thick & PE insulation, 10mm thick Methodology The analysis of the micro co-generation system comparing it to the conventional system was executed based on end-used demand data of hourly electricity energy consumption as illustrated in Fig. 3.
Data assumption for the analysis Fig.4: PES values with various micro-CHP capacities In this study, a micro co-generation system driven by natural gas is considered, combined with the utility electricity and air conditioning system in order to accommodate the energy demands.

Results and discussion
Fig.1 shows the XRD data of the high and low purity silicon kerf.
XRD data confirms that the crystalline phases of two samples are different.
Particle size analysis data of high purity silicon kerf in Fig.5 shows uniform particle size distribution.
Conventional carbothermal reduction of SiO2 for the synthesis of SiC powders involves many steps and is an energy-intensive process [7].
Table 2 The chemical analysis data of SiC powder synthesized at 1300℃ under vacuum condition for 3hrs at various grinding times Particle size (㎛) (Grinding time) SiC Free-Carbon SiO2 Free Si 3.5 (0 h) 96.5 trace 1.19 2.23 1.0 (24 h) 94.6 trace 2.97 2.34 0.5 (120 h) 85.7 trace 5.94 8.12 Summary Characterization of two types (high and low purity) of silicon kerf generated from solar cell manufacturing process was carried out.

The advantages of modern manufacturing process have confirmed the need for automated system over the traditional way of manufacturing in terms of cost reduction, mass production, improved quality, increased competitive advantage, better management control and increased flexibility [1].
The common procedure of machining for TCM was employed for the acquisition of data during the different machining phases.
Pre-processed signals were channeled to the BNC board and to the National Instrument’s (NI) data card for further processing and storage.
The interfacing is done by using LabVIEW graphical data logging software.
Each machining test pass was conducted along the length of the workpiece and the AE data of each pass was recorded (Fig. 1).

With the means of thermodynamic calculation and alloy smelting, the reaction of Mg-Y-Mishmetal-Zr melt in the process of smelting is studied and the relevant thermodynamic data are obtained.
At the same time, it brings a series of problems, such as the reaction between covering flux and alloy elements and reduction of the element yield.
The data are shown in Fig.2.

In this work a preliminary data set including experimental results from fatigue tests on smooth and foreign object damaged (FOD) aluminium samples coated with WC/C deposited with PVD (physical vapour deposition) technique was considered before testing WC/C-coated spur gears for racing motorcycles under rolling contact fatigue (RCF).
The aluminium samples subjected to FOD after deposition showed a reduction in the fatigue limit that was probably due to the coating fractures produced by FOD acting like severe micro-notches.
Acknowledgments The Authors wish to thank DUCATI CORSE Srl for the drawings and the data on the spur gears.

An established microscopic traffic simulation tool named PARAMICS [5] capable of modeling route diversions, speed reductions and forced stoppages of selected vehicles and output data similar to GPS receivers and car-following sensors was used to test and evaluate security monitoring systems, prior to conducting field tests.
Therefore, the commercial vehicle installed with such devices continuously reports the real-time telemetry and car-following data.
These data are fed into VINCENT to detect any possible security breach.
Fig. 4 plots the car-following gap and vehicle speed based on data collected from a commercial vehicle running along a freeway in Singapore.
It has been mentioned that VINCENT continuously receives data and output a decision (incident or no-incident) at every Dt interval.

This paper deals with the influence of axial length and reinforcing rib on dynamic axially compressed aluminum polygonal tube in order to obtain the basic data of buckling and impact resistance.
There are a lot of interests in an aluminum tube as a frame timber having the function of high strength and weight reduction of automobile bodies [6].
