Mullite was synthesized by firing precursors prepared from kaolinite via a wet chemistry method at various temperatures.
Acicular mullite has attracted attention as a possible reinforcement for high temperature structure materials.
In this paper, a wet chemistry method was used to synthesize mullite from kaolinite instead of conventional solid-state reaction.
It could be due to limitations of the crystal chemistry of mullite.
Conclusions (1) Mullite was successfully prepared from kaolinite using a wet chemistry method

The supramolecular forces of α-cyclodextrins (α-CDs) and PCL are used to produce MWNTs hybrid materials with pseudopolyrotaxane structure.
The preparation of this hybrid material provides a new approach for modifying carbon nanotubes in supramolecular chemistry with the expectation of applying this hybrid materials to the field of biomedicine.
This structure has potential application values in the fields of nanotechnology, drug/gene carrier and biological degradable materials [3].

Potassium Sulfate Nanoparticles in Water Solutions: Experiment and Quantum Chemistry Simulation

The results of computer simulations using Scigress quantum chemistry package show that the occurrence of macromolecules in a cooled supersaturated solution should result in an increased absorption.
Two of them are probably due to the two positions of potassium ions in the structure of the potassium sulfate crystal, a third may be a thallium ion with a defect nearby, or otherwise perturbed thallium ion.
Experiment Potassium sulphate (K2SO4) at room temperature refers to the orthorhombic space group D2h16 = Pnma, and at 587 º C undergoes a phase transition to the hexagonal structure D6h4 = P63/mmc.
One of the most widely used recent methods of synthesis of nanostructures is the so-called method of "soft chemistry" that allows one to create a wide range of nanomaterials in solutions using controlled phase formation and crystallization processes (colloidal synthesis, sol-gel method, synthesis in microemulsions) target self-assembly of nano-objects into ordered 2D and 3D assemblies (template synthesis aimed sedimentation, convection self-assembly).
