Effect of four materials including glycine, arginine, proline and sodium glutamate on survival of Bifidobacterium bifidum during freeze-drying Qi Ma 1, Tao Qin 1, a, He Chen 2, Guowei Shu 1, 2, b 1 Enzyme Engineering Institute, Shaanxi Academy of Sciences, Xi’an, China 2College of Life Science & Engineering,Shaanxi University of Science & Technology, Xi’an, China alcshgw@gmail.com, bshuguowei@gmail.com Keywords: Bifidobacterium bifidum; freeze-drying; Glycine; Arginine; Proline; Sodium glutamate Abstract:Effect of four materials including glycine, arginine, proline and sodium glutamate on survival of Bifidobacterium bifidum during freeze-drying was studied by measuring the viable counts of before and after freeze-drying.
Materials and Methods Bacterial strain Bifidobacterium bifidum was obtained from College of Life Science & Engineering, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology.
The four materials could significantly improve the survival rate of B. bifidum and the number of viable cells of lyophilized powder; glycine was the best protectant among the four materials.

It consists of a nonlinear spring element and two Maxwell elements, and the nonlinear spring element describes the nonlinear response of materials, as well as the two Maxwell elements describe the viscoelastic response of materials at low strain rate and high strain rate, respectively
This model strengthens the influence of strain rate and visco-plastic of materials.

Using Experiments Design to Model the Effect of Raw Materials on the Sintering and Technological Properties of Brick Compositions S.L.
The ternary system clay A-clay B-clay C, showing the composition raw materials triangle.
Furthermore, for the particular raw materials under consideration, there is a rather broad composition range in which it is possible to change the proportions of the raw materials and still maintain the properties within specified values.
